Art Camp 2019

Join us for a couple of hours of painting and nature. During each session participants will be able to explore both art & nature and bring the two together. Proceeds from each session help support Young Artistic Minds nonprofit organization, which helps put art education back into our schools. Note: Please bring your own water and snack.

Children’s Art Camp

Children will learn to mix primary colors to create secondary colors. They will have the opportunity to paint outdoors and appreciate nature in the process. In each session they will learn something new from symmetry, how to make paint brushes, painting leaves, rock painting, and painting with their senses.

Session 1: July 29, 2019 Session 5: August 5, 2019
Session 2: July 31, 2019 Session 6: August 7, 2019
Session 3: August 2, 2019 Session 7: August 14, 2019
Session 4: August 3, 2019 Session 8: August 15, 2019

Time:        Sessions 1-4: 10:00am – Noon

                 Sessions 5-8: 12:30-2:30pm

Age:          7-13 years’ old

Fee:           Residents: $35 (two-hour session) per child

                   Non-residents: $40 (two-hour session) per child
                   *Fees include all materials.

*Parents are welcome to join their child in the above sessions for an additional fee of $15 to cover materials.

Adult Art Camp

During these sessions you will learn how to paint a great composition through the use of colors, lines, creating texture, shapes and designs all while exploring a beautiful nature setting.

ART IN THE PARK: Saturday, July 22,2017

Cost: $5.00 per project

Art Projects every hour starting at 11 am.

Putting art education back into the schools in Genesee county.
Artwork will be for sell from local artists to raise money for
Young Artistic Minds Nonprofit Organization.
There will be a silent auction of artwork from local artists as well as professors from the
Univerisity of Michigan, Flint campus.
